WELCOME
The Susquehanna Rangers are dedicated to the study and preservation of the history of Pennsylvania between 1754 and 1763. We accomplish this goal by means of research and the use of firearms, clothing, and accoutrements authentic to that time period. Our goal is to share what we learn with all those who are interested, by giving demonstrations of 18th century life, at reenactments, historical sites, schools, and community fairs. Our portrayal includes men, women, and children of the early settlers as well as our woodland Indian allies. The Rangers were the first line of defense in the protection of the frontier and we would like to educate the public about the hardships and struggles of raising a family and living and dying on the grounds we all walk on today.
